I don’t have anything in this colour; that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

A few months ago I passed up a darling skintone-coloured pleated dress on ebay because I didn’t want to increase my maximum bid. Oh it was gorgeous: on skinny straps, very flapper-esque, pleats from top to bottom, a thick band of black at the hem…so classic. And I’ve regretted my decision to not re-bid ever since, which is why I could not pass up this little number. I just love the seam details - the mod/spacenut mix is perfect. Can’t wait till fall arrives and I can pair it with my gray over-the-knee socks, some chunky sandles, and a cranberry l/s top underneath. You know it’s a must-have piece when you can think up outfit options in millisecond time.
